Only OK. Other boring cooker chili recipes are better.

I really liked this. I precooked the ground beefiness. I didn't have the Mexican stewed tomatoes, so I used tin can of Rotel (10 oz) plus some tomato sauce & a chopped jalapeno. I only used the black beans.
a very nice recipe I'll do again.

Funny thing, I have used slow cookers for almost 20 years and never have I ever made a chili in one. Today, I used this recipe and threw in 2 pocket-sized diced onions, ane diced dark-green pepper and a 1/two of chopped frozen jalapeno. I too increased the chili pepper and used ancho chili pepper. This was super easy to make. Will definitely make over again!

I doubled this recipe for a party. It was very successful, but I fabricated a few changes: I used 2/3 beef and one/three pork. I couldn't imagine chili without onions, so I cut one up and threw it in. The spices were good merely I wanted more so added a chipotle in adobo sauce, plus a spoonful of extra adobo sauce. Later on a couple of hours of cooking it seemed dry out so I added another tin of diced tomatoes. Overall, with those changes, a great issue.
