What sparked the idea for Polarmoss?

The idea of Polarmoss is related to a long history and heritage of using Reindeer moss for dissimilar purposes on the remote island of Hailuoto. We harvest moss with utmost care due to the vulnerability of reindeer moss growth in boreal and arctic forest areas.
